Gargano: land of sea, ancient villages and traditions.

Gargano knew in summer for its  golden beaches, its scents and its colors, but also in Autumn it has a lot of things to tell.

In Vieste , September is the month of long walks in the Umbra Forest UNESCO Patrimony, of  the outdoor sports as “Vieste in Corsa” sport event dedicated to lovers of running and, the month of  ” fresh possibilities” for excursions to Peschici, Vico del Gargano and San Giovanni Rotondo round town of Padre Pio, without the scorching sun of August.

 

This is the period of the tranquillity, the more appreciated by locals cause you can enjoy all the beauties of these places  without the chaos of August and without giving up the summer;

 

…and than, September is the harvest month.

In our previous articles we have already talked  about the Gargano wine tastings in our little vineyard in the heart of  National Park where last summer, for the first time, we hosted italian and foreign tourists,  organizing tasting of the best wines and sparkling wines (spumanti) at sunset and sunrise yoga practices.

 

In this months we have told on our social channel the various steps of flowering and ripening of the grapes and finally in the last days, the time of our first harvest is came!

 

It is useless to tell you about our efforts, but we can tell you that the emotion in tasting the first must was incredible.

 

This adventure started almost by chance in April of this year, when Luigi  and Cinzia decided to start their own business, that started from the roots of this land and with the passion for wine.

 

Dedicated  at our wonderful land, today  we collect the first fruits of that choice that  will take us to the bottling of a new autochthonous wine next year, we looking forward to let you taste it during your trip in Vieste.
